This is being lost and just living everyday to get back to a place where one belongs - home. He explains that things just loose their meaning when one is lost and feeling really lonely. He longs for love and connection with someone, instead of the town to town life he has been living.

It is almost as if he feels prostuted by his work. Every "stop" just being a "destination" and everything being "planned" in this very systematic entrapment. It's everyday living minus the feeling of really living. |

Cigarettes and magazines are also in America when he feels bored and like he's outgrown where he's at. He's gone out and searched for the world and found everything is the same and that strangers make him want to get back to someplace that he knows - A place of comfort and where he is actually living. |

He has a duty to trudge on, but he feels that everything he says is just meaningless. Like when you're not really living, then everything looses it's meaning and all he wants is for someone to go home to - to have them comfort him and where he can live a real life. |
