At about the age of 15, I became really interested in black and white photography after looking through Beatles photography books (as in the band - you know John, Paul, George, and Ringo). So, in my sophomore year of high school I began taking photography and I continued through high school. I helped teach the darkroom processes to other students, and in my senior year of high school my portfolio won entrance into the Florida State Fair competition. Orginially I was going to major in Photography in college, but then changed my mind and graduated with a BA in English - Creative Writing/Fiction (I have small portions of my writing that can be viewed at my main web page: If You Can't Win By Reason). I still enjoy photography and do things in my spare time.
